Adult Mental Health First Aid Two day course

A fully focused two day event, thats broken up into four sessions. 

Through  mix of group activities , presentation and group discussions. 

Each session is built around a Menta Health First Aid (MHFA) action plan. 

You get a certificate of attendance that qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider. 

A manual to reference to whenever needed 

A work book and a helpful tool kit to support your own mental health.  

Course limit to 8-16 people

Adult Mental Health First Aid One day course

Fully in depth one day course that’s aim is to teach and give people a better understanding and awareness of mental health in the work place. 

 With an understanding of common mental health issues  

  • Knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness
  • Ability to spot signs of mental ill health 
  • Skills to support positive wellbeing

Course limits to 16 people 

Need access to a good training room and access to light refreshments. 

Become a Youth Mental Health First Aider Two day course

 

A fully focused two day event, thats broken up into four sessions. 

Through  mix of group activities , presentation and group discussions. 

Each session is built around a Youth  Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) action plan. 

You get a certificate of attendance that qualifies you as a Youth Mental Health First Aider.

Youth Mental Health First Aiders will have:

  • An in depth understanding of young people’s mental health and factors that affect wellbeing
  • Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues 
  • Confidence to reassure and support a young person in distress
  • Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening 
  • Knowledge to help a young person recover their health by guiding them to further support – whether that’s through self-help sites, their place of learning, the NHS, or a mix – engaging with parents, carers and external agencies where appropriate
  • Ability to support a young person with a long term mental health issue or disability to thrive
  • Tools to look after your own mental wellbeing
