Mental Health First Aiders can have a profound and positive impact on their communities. Carrying out your role responsibly involves the following:
Keeping yourself safe and well – for more information refer to your MHFA England course manual
Communicating any concerns about the mental health and wellbeing of anyone in your workplace, for example to an appropriate manager
Following your workplace’s policies and procedures on how MHFA England training is implemented in your organisation
We are a company that supply mental health first aid training to organisations and individuals at an affordable cost with as little disruption to your Buisness as possible
we understand how hard it can be to run a Buisness these days so having a key person away for two days can have a massive impact as can the cost of £300 . which is why we provide the training on weekends as well as week days and do not charge £300
Firstly we have worked within the helping industry for over 10 years working as a therapist and as a mental health advisor to a big construction company.
We are realistic , we understand that not all businesses can simply have their staff off and pay the big fees that many training providers charge.
We are sympathetic to small businesses and their needs so can be flexible whist still delivering the same level of training and professionalism as the big training providers.
We are trained to the exact same level as we have trained through MHFA England and adhere to there code of conduct
Stress , anxiety and depression are the biggest cause of sickness absence in our society.
Mental ill health is responsible for 91 million work days lost every year.
Our belief and rightly so is that it will soon be legislation to have the same amount of mental health first aiders as physical first aiders
Your workforce is your Buisness
Any good employer would want to make sure they are doing all they can to help their workforce stay safe and healthy.
84 men aged between the age of 20 and 49 die by suicide every week in the UK , it could be anyone , someone that works for you , with you even a member of your family.
This course works , we have witnessed what we have taught people save lives.
please see our testimonials

Once you are a part of a community of over 350,000 people in England and 2.6 million people worldwide trained to recognise mental ill health and help people find the support they need to stay well.
Together, we strive to achieve our vision of creating a society where attitudes and behaviour to mental ill health are normalised, where everyone has the skills to look after their own and others’ wellbeing.
Once you have taken the step and training to become a Mental Health First Aider.
It’s important to remember that MHFA England courses do not teach people to be therapists or counsellors and do not teach people how to diagnose mental health conditions or provide ongoing support. Instead, your role is to act as a point of contact and reassurance for a person who may be experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress. Maintaining appropriate boundaries is a key part of successfully providing Mental Health First Aid and keeping yourself safe and well.
"Since doing my training with MHF I have found I have used the skills I learnt on many occasions both within my personal life and work life .
One of the most important skills I learnt was to look after my own mental well being."
" I was very close to suicide as I saw it as my only way out , with the help of a mental health first aider that simply listened to me , didn't tell me I was wrong or to think of my kids which is what I thought I was doing I was able to get the right help , I'm not cured of my depression but I now know I can beat it on a daily basis , I honesty feel that that guy saved my life , I too now have trained as a mental health first aider"

People undergoing cosmetic procedures such as botox and fillers will face extra checks to see if they are suffering from mental health problems.
staff at some clinics providing the procedures will be trained to spot people with issues such as body dysmorphic disorder
There is no legislation presently that states that you must have a mental health first aider , however the health and safety executive says:
"You should consider ways to manage mental ill health in your workplace which are appropriate for your business, such as providing information or training for managers and employees, employing occupational health professionals, appointing mental health trained first aiders and implementing employee support programmes.”
Mental health first aid training is open to everyone however we advise that you offer the training as an option : this will encourage people that are truly interested in helping people which is the main element mental health first aid
